Lanta Castaway Beach Resort - Koh Lanta

Howay, we had a canny time by the beach! The bungalows were proper comfy, with great air con and nice views. What I loved most was the friendly staff, always keen to help. Only downside was the small size of water bottles, could've used bigger ones!

I would stay here again, loved its location, nothing to complain about. The setting is magnificent and beautiful, adjacent to the island of Ko Lanta and Lanta Castaway, Thailand and a great restaurant. Also, Lanta Animal Welfare is relatively near the venue.

The units were tastefully decorated and the staff were outstandingly accommodating people who always give you their best service. The breakfast was plentiful and they serve it in the restaurant.

Sunsets from the terrace were lovely.

We encountered several disappointments . The air conditioning in the villa was not functioning properly and only worked on fan mode. The food at the restaurant was bland and lacked variety, disappointing given our expectations. We noticed that the motorcycle rental prices were higher compared to nearby locations.

Chill vibes and great food!

Had such a chill stay! The super nice team, always ready with a smile. We loved hanging out by the beach and the food at the bar was way better than expected. One thing tho-wifi wasn't always strong in our bungalow, a bummer. A fab getaway for families.

Had a blast relaxing at this small resort with friends. The bungalows were nice and clean, and only steps from the beach-perfect for swimming and lounging in the Andaman Sea. Enjoyed cocktails and the great vibe at the beach bar while watching the sunset.

One downside was the air conditioning in our bungalow. It didn't cool down as much as we hoped, especially on warmer nights.

The One-Bedroom Bungalow was undeniably cozy, with a perfect balance of comfort and charm, complemented by the daily housekeeping that kept everything fresh. The beach location was a standout, especially for sunrise walks and enjoying the fine sunsets while sipping delicious cocktails from the beach bar. Although the food at the resort was decent, we found some local restaurants nearby offered better value, made dining options more varied. Lastly, while the additional costs for some services seemed a bit high, the beautiful surroundings and friendly staff certainly made up for it.

This is a lovely resort. I stayed for 3 nights in a Double Room with Garden View. The bungalows are comfortable with nice porches. The beach is close with beautiful views. Staff were wonderful, and food was great 🌴

I stayed in a One-Bedroom Bungalow, and it was an absolute dream! The bungalows are super spacious and cozy, complete with thoughtful details like ample storage space. The breakfast offered a good array of choices that fueled my adventures, and the staff were sweet and attentive!

The resort's proximity to the beach provided amazing sunset views, and the breakfast was a highlight with options from thai to english cuisine. Especially weung.

air conditioning could be cooler

Great beach access with beautiful sunset views. Breakfast options were delicious. The air conditioning in my bungalow struggled to keep cool during the night. Happy hour cocktails at the beach bar were a perfect way to unwind.

The bungalows are cozy and well-kept, with air conditioning that works efficiently in the heat. The breakfast menu offers a wide range of options, from flavorful Thai dishes to hearty options like the well-received pina colada pancakes and breakfast potatoes, all cooked fresh to order.

The connecting doors between rooms can be noisy, so if you're in a bungalow next to someone else, you might hear them more than you'd like. There's no swimming pool on site, which could be a downside for some folks looking for that feature. While the beach is lovely, it has larger rocks that can make swimming tricky at low tide. For a smoother experience, the longer stretch of beach to the north is a better choice. Lastly, there's no sitting area in the room.

The place is conveniently situated near numerous beach bars, shops, and offers a wide selection of breakfast choices.

We loved the lush gardens and beachfront location. the staff were helpful and friendly, and the property was beautiful. the restaurant served a wide variety of delicious Thai food. We enjoyed watching the ocean from the comfortable lounge chairs and daybeds provided. the bungalows were private and well-maintained. the breakfast and dinner were excellent.

Felt right at home here, no complaints.
